A boost in temperatures despite the lack of sunshine
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month and one campaign is raising money to help patients and survivors.
It’s called “Pink Possible” and organizers held a “Ladies Night Fundraiser” at Matty’s Bar and Grille in New Berlin.
Women got to enjoy an evening of special menu and drink, get pink hair extensions, and manicures, as well as raffles and an auction.
The event was started nine years ago by a breast cancer survivor who owns a salon in New Berlin.
“There are so many places for women with breast cancer where insurance might fail them or they fall between the cracks and there’s so much need out there.
The money helps patients and survivors getting treatment through Aurora Health Care. For more information about Pink Possible or how you can help, please click here.
