All lanes opening following police activity in Sheboygan County, suspect in stolen vehicle arrested

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- All lanes are now open after law enforcement activity temporarily caused a full closure on WIS 23 in Sheboygan County Monday. 

According to the Sheboygan Police Department, officers located a stolen vehicle around 4 p.m. and conducted a stop on N. Taylor Drive at State Highway 23. 

The 35-year-old suspect out of Cascade, Wisconsin, was taken into custody without incident.

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A full closure is underway on WIS 23 eastbound and westbound at Taylor Drive in Sheboygan County Monday, due to law enforcement activity. 

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the on-ramps to WIS 23 from I-43 northbound and southbound are closed. 

The Sheboygan Police Department is asking the public to avoid the area of N. Taylor Drive and State Highway 23 at this time.
