Milwaukee police investigating after 1 killed, 7 injured in Tuesday shootings
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating five separate shootings that took place Tuesday, July 28.
Police say a 57-year-old Milwaukee man was injured in a shooting at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday near 36th and Keefe Avenue. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police seek an unknown suspect.
Around 7:42 p.m., a 57-year-old Milwaukee man was injured in a shooting near Buffum and Meinecke. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. No suspects have been arrested.
A 33-year-old man was killed, and a 24-year-old woman was injured in a shooting near 24th and Maple around 10:31 p.m. So far, no suspects have been arrested.
Multiple people were shot around 10:41 p.m. near 26th and Atkinson. Three men, ages 23, 26, and 36, sustained non-life threatening injuries. A suspect vehicle has been identified as a pink Infinity G35 that fled the scene. No suspects have been arrested at this time.
Around 11:50 p.m., a 41-year-old Milwaukee man was injured in a shooting near 8th and Keefe. The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment and police seek an unknown suspect.
