FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Franklin police are actively searching for 21-year-old Christian Correa in relation to a reported stabbing that occurred early Friday, Oct. 27. Officers responded to a 911 call of a stabbing at around 4 a.m. Friday.

Upon their arrival near 31st and West Skamra, police reportedly found a female victim with stab wounds. Franklin police say that Correa, identified as the suspect, fled the scene on foot. His last known location was near 31st and West Ryan Rd.

The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.

According to authorities, this incident appears to be isolated, as Correa is known to the victim. FPD has indicated that they believe there is no immediate threat to the public.
