Pop-up farmers markets to be hosted on Milwaukee's north side🥕🌻🍓

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The first of three north side pop-up farmers markets will take place Tuesday, Aug. 11 at Century City. 

Hosted by the Northwest Side Community Development Corporation (NWSCDC), the outdoor markets will be held rain or shine Tuesdays between 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. at a different location each week. 

According to a news release, featured vendors include Signature Sweets, Pete’s Pops, Red Stone Rice, GLDN HNY, Steppin Out Foods, Community Bakers, Kaleidoscope Gardens and more.

Each farmers market will feature cooking demonstrations, raffle prizes, and other activities. 

Proper social distancing practices will be in place and masks will be required at the farmers markets. 

Here's a look at the market pop-ups: 

  •  August 11: Century City I Building (Good City Brewing) - 3945 N. 31st Street
  • August 18: Ascension All Saints Family Health Center - 2400 W. Villard Ave.
  • August 25: MMSD West Basin (former Bee Bus site) - 4350 N. 35th Street
