The heart of the day on Monday stayed pretty dry with most of the rain confined to the morning and again later on in the evening. Most communities saw some good heavy rain between 9 pm - 1 am. The majority of southeast Wisconsin saw between a half to full inch of rain. Fond du Lac saw the most with over 1".
With the additional rain Milwaukee is still about an inch below-average on rainfall for June and could use a little bit more. No heavy rain is expected the next 48 hours but some light showers are looking likely. Some pop up showers and isolated storms will be helped by some morning sunshine. Not everyone will see the rain but those that do can expect passing showers that last for 10-15 minutes.
Rain accumulation doesn't look very high for Tuesday with less than a quarter inch of everyone. Expect higher amounts in thunderstorms.
