President Biden visiting Racine next week

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- President Joe Biden will visit Wisconsin next week, marking his fourth trip to the battleground state this year.

Biden will deliver remarks in Racine on May 8, which will come a week after former President Donald Trump held a rally in Waukesha.

The president will talk about his "investing in America" agenda, according to the White House. He will then hold a campaign event after his speech. No additional details about his visit were immediately available.

It comes as Biden and Trump are locked in a tight race in recent statewide and national polling.
