President Trump will attend Foxconn groundbreaking and host fundraiser
MILWAUKEE (AP) — President Donald Trump plans to attend the Foxconn Technology Group groundbreaking ceremony later this month and attend a luncheon fundraiser.
The Milwaukee Business Journal reports that prominent Milwaukee business executive Ted Kellner is hosting the June 29 fundraiser. It comes before Trump is to attend the Foxconn event in Mount Pleasant with Gov. Scott Walker and a host of other state and local leaders.
Foxconn is building a massive factory and campus to build liquid display crystal screens. The investment could reach $10 billion and the Taiwanese company says 13,000 may work there.
The cost to attend Trump's fundraiser starts at $2,700 per couple and goes up to $100,000 to be a host and get a picture with the president.
Trump was last in Wisconsin a year ago in Waukesha.
