MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Ian Thompson of Visit Milwaukee joined us on Wednesday, Sept. 3 to preview some of the highlights on the event calendar in the area this month.
TosaFest returns Friday, Sept. 5 in the Village of Wauwatosa with three stages of live music, four beer gardens, a KidsFest and Oktoberfest with Draft & Vessel. Performers include Soulercoaster, Landline and Radio Radio.
The Tacos and Tequila Festival takes place Saturday, Sept. 13 at Franklin Field. Lil Jon, B.O.B., Paul Wall, Mike Jones and Yung Joc headline the event, which also features lucha libre wrestling and a Chihuahua beauty pageant.
The 12th annual Puerto Rican Festival of Wisconsin is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 21 at Henry Maier Festival Park. The event highlights Puerto Rican music, food and culture.
On Friday, Sept. 26, the Pabst Theater Group presents actor Cary Elwes for a screening of "The Princess Bride" followed by a discussion.
