MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- If Milwaukee's Common Council says yes, you could have more time to pay parking tickets.
The ordinance would extend the current 10-day grace period to 14 days.
Research has shown that other Midwest cities have longer grace periods which includes 14 days in Cincinnati, 15 in Cleveland, 21 in Chicago, and 30 days in St. Louis.
The plan heads to the full council on February 26.
