Quiet to end the work week, but turning hot and humid this weekend into early next week

Today will be very similar Wednesday with a mix of sun and clouds, noticeable humidity, and temps in the upper 70s to low 80s. We can't rule out a pop up shower mainly inland, but the chance is even lower than yesterday. Great weather for the first day of Bastille Days!

Humidity will remain noticeable, but tolerable, on Friday, but miserable humidity returns for the weekend and into early next week. Dew points will be the highest Sunday and Monday in the low to mid 70s.

Temps warm back into the low to mid 80s on Friday then continue warming into the low 90s by Sunday and staying around 90° on Monday.

Factor in the humidity and it'll feel a LOT hotter. Sunday will feel the hottest with heat index values rising into the triple digits area-wide.

There will be multiple chances for storms Saturday through Monday, and with the heat and humidity around they'd likely be severe. The big question is where they will form Saturday evening into Sunday morning. There will be a domino effect with the storms with each around developing where the previous round leaves a boundary. You'll want to keep up with the forecast through the weekend as SE WI is under a severe risk Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
