Racine kitchen fire near Kearney and Winthrop displaces three

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Fire Department say three people are displaced after a Racine kitchen fire near Kearney and Winthrop on Saturday, April 3.

According to officials, it happened around 5:30 p.m. Arriving crews found that the kitchen fire extinguished itself. 

Officials say there was major damage in the kitchen and further smoke damage throughout the home.

No civilians or firefighters were injured in the fire.

The home was left uninhabitable.

The cause of the fire and damage estimates are currently under investigation.
