Fire and Ice Festival

Breaking News on Racine & Me: The Fire & Ice Festival in downtown Racine is being delayed due to warmer than normal temperatures for most of January. The new date is Saturday, February 2nd at Monument Square.

We get a sneak peek at what families can expect this year, including the new “Fire and Ice Scavenger Hunt” and the well-received ice sculpting event of years past.

Ice Sculpting Demonstration

The ice sculptures are one of the main focal points of the Fire & Ice Festival in downtown Racine. More than a dozen artists will create one. Kai McNulty of Sturtevant is participating this year. He shows us what it takes to create an icy masterpiece with a demonstration outside CBS 58.

Downtown Restaurant Week

It’s a foodie’s dream in Racine! Downtown Restaurant Week runs January 19th – 26th. Learn about some of the restaurants participating this year, how much money you can save dining at them, and the card everyone who loves to eat out will want to get.
