RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Cari Greving from Real Racine joined us in studio to talk about an array of upcoming events, the first of which will help you connect to Italian culture.
Italian Fest at Roma Lodge is happening on Friday July 29, Saturday July 30, & Sunday July 31 at Roma Lodge - 7130 Spring Street.
Admission on Friday and Saturday is $5 at the Festival, $4 in advance. Sunday admission is free!
This year marks the 43rd Annual Roma Lodge Italian Festival. Roma Lodge will be making a donation to local charities.
There is also the 29th Annual "Golf for Kids" event happening on Aug. 5 at the Johnson Park Golf Course in Racine.
It's a great day of golf, contests, raffles, food, and drinks. All proceeds from the event go toward children with special needs.
Golf package #1 costs $125 and includes 18 holes of golf, a power cart, beverages on the course, lunch, a buffet dinner, and a chance to win prizes.
And if you're craving to bring home the bacon, you may want to check out the Mount Pleasant Bacon Fest where you can enjoy a wide variety of bacon-inspired dishes, treats, and drinks while listening to live music from local performing artists.
The event will include beer, wine, and mixed drinks served by Roma Lodge, children's carnival games, and more! Tickets are just $5 when you pre-purchase online before Aug. 5 at 4 p.m. They cost $8 at the gate.
The Racine Starving Artists Fair is also coming up.
