RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Joycelyn Fish and Christopher Johnston joined us in studio to talk about the Racine Theatre Guild's upcoming adaptation of Sweeney Todd:The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street premiered on Broadway in 1979 and currently has a revival happening in New York, but you have the chance to see it locally at the Racine Theatre Guild.
Featuring unforgettable songs including “The Worst Pies in London,” “Johanna,” “Pretty Women,” and “The Ballad of Sweeney Todd,” revenge has never tasted like this. With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by Hugh Wheeler from and adaptation by Christopher Bond, the adult material may not be suitable for younger patrons.
