Racine & Me: WHS Annual Calendar Contest
RACINE, WI (CBS 58) -- Is your pet a star? Here's your chance to get them onto a calendar with the Wisconsin Humane Society.
Jenna Crawford is the Director of Youth Programs and joined us in studio to talk about WHS Annual Calendar Contest.
WHS Annual Calendar Contest The Wisconsin Humane Society's annual calendar contest is back! You can enter any adorable picture of your pet for a chance to be featured in our 2025 calendar. You'll receive a personalized link to share with friends and family, who can then vote for your pet's photo. There is a $20 entry fee per photo and each vote costs $1.
Every picture with at least 5 votes is *guaranteed* to be in the calendar. The photo with the most votes at the end of the contest will be our cover model! The next 11 pictures with the most votes will be “animal of the month”. There is also a "Judge's Choice" winner that allows anyone a chance to win no matter how many votes they receive! For an additional fee, you can choose a special date for your pet's photo to appear: a birthday, anniversary, or a “gotcha day”. Every dollar raised goes to support the animals in our care at all of our locations. It's a really fun way for the community to show off their adorable pets while also supporting pets in need.
We are accepting pet photo submissions until 9pm on Wednesday, August 21st. You can submit your pet's photo on our website www.wihumane.org. There's a link right there on the home page.
