Racine Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting

Racine Police are investigating a shooting that has sent a 31-year-old man to the hospital with a serious gunshot wound. According to the Police, the shooting occurred around 1:45 AM in the area of 12th and Villa Streets. Good Samaritans found the man on the street with several gunshot wounds, including one to the chest, and took him to St. Mary’s Hospital in Racine. Flight for Life was called and the man was flown to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee with what is considered a serious gunshot wound. No one is in custody, but the Racine Police are investigating the shooting and seeking a suspect.
