Railroad work to require full closure of Brown Deer Road

BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is telling drivers about an upcoming full closure of Brown Deer Road (WIS 100) in Brown Deer.

Wisconsin Central Ltd. (Canadian National Railway), will be doing maintenance work on their railroad crossing between Deerbrook Trail and Arbon Drive. In order to complete the work, crews will completely close Brown Deer Road at the crossing from Monday, May 21 until mid-day Friday, May 25. The closure is weather dependent and subject to change.

An official detour will be posted using 76th Street (WIS 181), Good Hope Road (County PP) and Green Bay Road (WIS 57).
