It's a rainy start to this Wednesday morning! Showers are widespread, and even some heavy downpours are holding. We will find some quiet time later this morning, up until the lunch hour when a second round of rain is here. This is non-severe, but heavy rain could be possible at times. We do have the opportunity for some clearing overnight, before another chance for some scattered showers tomorrow afternoon.
These next few days and their rain chances also come with some cooler temperatures. A gusty wind out of the northeast has arrived and will keep temperatures into the 40s lakeside today and tomorrow, with the low 50s possible farther inland. Gusts could reach up to 25mph today and then again tomorrow. Prior to this week, our April so far has only consisted of 4 other days seeing highs into the 40s! Most days have been in the 60s, which is our normal high for this time of year.
The weekend ahead looks quiet with increasing temperatures. A small rain chance will return Sunday evening, before better chances for rain on Monday and Tuesday.
