Rain chances return late Wednesday

It's been a decent season so far on the rain front. The winter was fairly lackluster for snow, so overall we are still running just a little behind on yearly precipitation. 

 While June is running just a few splashes below normal to date, more rain is on the way starting late Wednesday. Here's when the next chance for rain arrives: Rain and possibly some storms come closer to midnight. and while our models have most of it setting up for the northern half of the area, the better ingredients for stronger storms sets up closer to the IL border.  The chance for additional storms on Thursday will continue, but it will not be a washout. Rain chances are still possible on Friday too. If you get continued showers and storms over your area, you may be able to get a good half inch of rain the next few days. That will keep us on pace for late Spring rainfall.
