MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- CBS 58's Montse Ricossa had some fun Wednesday morning, reading to the kids at the Penfield Children's Center on Milwaukee's west side.
This is Read Across America Week, dedicated to the joy of reading and the importance of literacy -- and as organizers point out, it's never too early.
"Reading at kids at any point is so critical, so we are so proud to sponsor Read Across America," said Megan Wurz, VP, Penfield Children's Center. "It really is March 3, but we are rolling it out this entire week. We have some great guests that are coming out to read their favorite stories."
Penfield will be hosting reading sessions each morning through Friday.
