Report: Packers to sign WR Funchess

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Green Bay Packers are expected to add wide receiver Devin Funchess, NFL.com reporter Tom Pelissero says on Twitter.

Funchess, 25, is entering his sixth NFL season, playing four seasons for the Carolina Panthers and one season for the Indianapolis Colts.

Funchess' 2019 season was cut short after he broke his collar bone in week one of the season. He sat out the remainder of the season trying to recover from the injury.

While with the Panthers, Funchess had his best season in 2017, when he scored eight touchdowns and had 840 yards receiving.

Funchess is 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds. He ran the 40-yard-dash in 4.47 seconds.
