Retired Town of Sheboygan fire chief, Kenn Gumm, dies

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Former fire chief of the Town of Sheboygan Fire Department, Kenn Gumm, died just before 5 a.m. Saturday, July 25, according to his family. 

Gumm was the fire chief for 24 years.

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The former fire chief of the Town of Sheboygan Fire Department received a special visit from his third floor room at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. 

Former Chief Ken Gumm has cancer, and an infection put him in the hospital.

Thursday, April 30, the Town of Sheboygan Fire Department brought their ladder truck to the hospital so his kids, and grandkids could see him from his window. 

The event brought smiles to all around.
