MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers says he spent hours watching old "Jeopardy!" episodes with Alex Trebek to prepare for his two-week run guest hosting the show.
"I just had to understand exactly what Alex was doing," Rodgers told the CBS 58 Morning News. "All the different affirmative answers that he would use. How he keeps the gameplay going. His kind of throws to break and what he likes doing. Because I felt like to respect him and honor his memory the right way, I don’t think you need to deviate too much."
Morning anchor Mike Curkov went back to some of the old "Jeopardy!" episodes on Netflix and found Rodgers' playbook matches pretty closely to Trebek's. Watch the video for a comparison.
"Jeopardy!" airs weeknights at 6 p.m. on CBS 58.
