MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A restaurant is recognizing a Milwaukee County Transit System bus driver for her act of kindness.
Last month, Irena Ivic came to the rescue of a toddler alone on a Milwaukee bridge.
She ran across a busy street to bring the child onto the bus.
Authorities believe the girl's mother was having a mental health crisis and left her outside.
Now, Sal's Pizza in downtown Milwaukee is offering Ivic free pizza for a year.
"We'll make sure all of our employees know and if she wants to give us a call or stop in the store, or you know, whatever she wants to do, we'll work with her to make it work," said Ian Tousey, manager at Sal's Pizza.
The bus driver was also recognized at a ceremony on Thursday.
This is the 9th lost or missing child MCTS drivers have helped in recent years.
