FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Banana Ball is coming to Wisconsin!
The Savannah Bananas, a team focused on making baseball fun, will be in the Milwaukee area next September for two games at Franklin Field.
The team uses a unique set of rules and puts the fans first with crazy on-field antics and fun interactions.
Jackson Olson is the third baseman for the Bananas and has some family ties here in Wisconsin.
He says he can't wait for the fans to experience all that Banana Ball has to offer.
"You're sitting next to someone in the stands and they're like, 'oh, look at the dancing first base coach' or 'look at Jackson eating nachos while he's hitting,' or 'look at the center fielder doing a backflip while he just caught a fly ball.' It's just a way for baseball fans to, like I said, enjoy that show experience," said Olson.
The two games in Wisconsin will be played against the Milkmen.
Those games will take place on Friday, Sept. 8 and Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023.
