We did get a little bit of rain over the weekend with some scattered showers on Saturday. Rain totals there were around a quarter inch so not a big soaking rain but you may have gotten a break from watering the garden for a day. Even with a little bit of rain we are still way behind on rainfall this spring. Milwaukee has picked up 3.30" of rainfall since March 1st which is over 4.50" behind the average rainfall through the middle of March and still the 4th driest start to Spring on record.
We are missing out on a rain chance Monday with a nice soaking rain happening across central Illinois. Our next rain chance arrives Tuesday with some scattered showers possible, mainly in the afternoon and evening.
A few more showers could fall on Wednesday and Thursday along with an isolated thunderstorm. None of the rain chances look like washouts with more isolated and scattered chances for rain. Friday and Saturday look mostly dry with another chance for storms Sunday.
Even if we do see some showers this week, rain totals aren't looking too impressive. Through Friday most of Wisconsin is expected to pick up around or less than a half inch of rain.
