MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Students from across the U.S. and Latin America had a full day of rock and roll at The Rave.
On Wednesday, June 24, School of Rock, which offers performance-based music education, had an all-day demonstration for the media from some up-and-coming young musicians. Students had a private showcase at The Rave ahead of their Summerfest performances.
The School of Rock has over 400 locations internationally, in countries such as Mexico and Argentina.
"I became very, very, very obsessed with Weezer for a long, long time, so I definitely like kind of geek rocky stuff." said Silas, a School of Rock performer. "Not only like rock, but maybe more like groovy or something like that. But also a very representative part of Colombian music."
You can see School of Rock performers at Summerfest on June 25 and 26. They have an afternoon show at the Uline Warehouse stage and the T-Mobile stage.
