Scott Walker not running for Wisconsin governor in 2026

Scott Walker on X MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker says he will not be running for governor in 2026.
"I'm not going to be a candidate for governor in 2026. In fact, I'm going to continue my work as president of Young America's Foundation," he said on X.
The news comes as Gov. Tony Evers says he will not be seeking a third term.
