Driver who killed couple in wrong-way crash sentenced to prison
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- From growing up in our hometown to protecting presidents. Two Secret Service agents returned home Friday, to inspire the next generation.
Peter Vogl and Andrew McArtor went to Townsend Street School in Milwaukee. They're now senior leaders within the Secret Service.
They came back to the school they grew up in Friday, sharing with students their career experiences and lessons in leadership.
"I know a lot of these kids, too, probably have a lot of questions," McArtor said. "Where are they going to be five, 10 years from now. If we can kind of give them some inspiration that this is an opportunity that they can choose, we're all about maybe setting an example and have someone follow our footsteps."
Vogl and McArtor were in the same class together, graduating Townsend in 1986. The two didn't see each other again until 2020 when they were on duty in the White House.
They now work together in the Chicago Field Office.
