See what the buzz is about at the Milwaukee County Zoo with the new Powerful Pollinators exhibit
CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Zoo's new summer exhibit is open, and it's the first time they're bringing bugs to the zoo grounds. Powerful Pollinators shows larger-than-life animatronic bugs and all of their tiniest details-- from creepy antennas to their bright colors and big eyes.
While you may not think of bugs when it comes to wildlife and zoo animals, organizers want to spread the word about the important role these pollinators play in our environment.
See flies buzz and butterflies flutter their wings from now until Oct. 4. The cost is $4 per person after regular zoo admission.
Every Wednesday, they also have special Activity Series days with sensory learning and pollinator-themed activities for kids.
