Semi crashes into 4 cars that were stopped at a red light in Kenosha, closes intersection for hours

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police are investigating a crash in Kenosha that involved 5 vehicles on Thursday, Nov. 14. 

It happened near Green Bay Road and 52nd around 3:21 p.m. 

According to Kenosha police, a semi-truck and trailer failed to properly navigate a turn, and the semi collided into four vehicles that were stopped at a red light. It closed the entire intersection for over two hours. 

One driver suffered a significant injury. The remaining drivers suffered minor injuries and were treated at local hospitals. 

The accident remains under investigation.
