PEWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A truck crash on Capitol in Pewaukee resulted in two deaths on Wednesday according to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Dept.

A 49-year-old man driving westbound reportedly rear-ended a vehicle operated by a 76-year-old woman. She died from her injuries.

The crash occurred at around 9:32 a.m. just east of Pewaukee Road.

Officials say the truck continued westbound and struck two construction workers at the intersection. A 47-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while a 46-year-old man was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The 49-year-old truck driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The intersection remains closed while the crash is under investigation.
