Several injured following 3-vehicle accident involving semi in Dodge County

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a 3-vehicle accident that involved a semi.

Law enforcement responded to the crash on County Highway A near Cth C in the City of Fox Lake around 12:30 p.m. on Monday.

Preliminary investigation shows that a Chevrolet Equinox was traveling north on Cth A. A semi-tractor/trailer followed by a Toyota Camry were traveling south on Cth A. The Chevrolet crossed into the southbound traffic lane and struck the semi-tractor/trailer. The Chevrolet separated from the semi and then struck the Toyota.

The female driver of the Chevrolet was flown by Flight for Life to a Madison hospital.

The male driver of the Toyota was taken to a local hospital by ambulance. His passenger was taken to a local hospital before being flown by Flight for Life to a hospital in Madison.

The driver of the semi was uninjured.

The investigation remains ongoing.
