Charges referred against 25-year-old driver involved in fatal Sheboygan crash

SEHBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 25-year-old woman was arrested and is facing charges in connection with a crash that left a 37-year-old woman dead.
The crash happened on Sept. 4, near North 3rd Street and North Avenue. Police say the 37-year-old woman -- identified as Angela Williams of Sheboygan -- died as a result of the crash.
The driver, a 25-year-old Sheboygan woman, was also seriously injured.
Both speed and alcohol were factors in the crash, according to police.
Police say the 25-year-old woman was arrested and charges are being referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney's Office and they include: Operating while under the influence causing death, homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, and knowingly operating a vehicle while revoked causing death.

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Sheboygan Police Dept. is reporting that a single-vehicle crash into Lake Michigan resulted in the death of a 37-year-old woman and serious injuries to a 25-year-old woman.
Both victims are residents of Sheboygan.
The Sheboygan Police and Fire Departments responded to the incident at the intersection of N. 3rd Street and North Ave. late Thursday night, Sept. 4, at around 11:30 p.m.
Authorities report that a sedan traveling eastbound on North Ave. failed to navigate the curve onto N. 3rd Street, subsequently leaving the roadway and coming to rest in Lake Michigan.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
