MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department said New Year’s Eve was much busier for authorities compared to last year.
The department, along with several other area agencies, planned to have hundreds of officers patrolling the roads during the holiday weekend.
CBS 58 rode along with the department Sunday night. The agency responded to several different calls including a car fire, numerous crashes and intoxicated drivers. The department made a handful of arrests throughout the holiday for people operating while intoxicated.
