20th Criterium Cycling Classic held in Shorewood

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The 20th annual Shorewood Criterium Classic was held on Friday, June 21.

The event was hosted by the Shorewood Business Improvement District. Bikers went down on Oakland Ave. 

The Kwik Trip Tour of America's Dairyland is an 11-day racing event that brings riders from amateurs to professionals to communities to Southeast Wisconsin. The race has gathered racers from 40 states and 15 countries. 

The Shorewood races are on day 9 of the tour. The event held several races, for individuals of all ages and skill levels. 

Three Lion's Pub also threw s Kensington Street Block Party with food and music. There was also a kid's zone, with face paintings and a bouncy castle.
