Showers and storms arrive overnight with a cold front

Remaining muggy today and into the start of Friday, but there is relief on the way behind a series of cold fronts.

The first cold front will bring a round of rain and storms overnight into Friday. A majority of the rain associated with the front will fall Friday morning, but a few lingering isolated showers can't be ruled out in the afternoon.

Dew points will drop Friday night into Saturday, and any remaining humidity will be swept out of here behind another cold front Sunday morning.

That front will move through dry but bring blustery NW winds and cooler temps back to SE WI. Temps will warm into the low 80s to end the week but will drop into the low 70s by Labor Day. Outside of the showers and storms on Friday, travel should be smooth sailing throughout Labor Day weekend.
