Snow arrives tonight. Some accumulation expected.

A fast moving clipper will arrive later this evening providing widespread light snow across the area.  Even though totals will hover around an inch, with the cold already in place, there will be some accumulation on the roads.  Slick spots are possible for Thursday morning.

The atmosphere is rather dry right now, so it will take some time to saturate.  We expect the snow to fall after 10 pm.  Snow showers are forecast to linger through the Thursday morning, and that could make a slower morning commute.

So far Milwaukee has 5.9" of snow for the month.  That's several inches above normal.  If you are wondering about the records, well, we are far away from that.  18.4" is the snowiest November ever recorded way back in 1895!
