Afternoon update: Main batch of snow winding down with additional flurries into this evening
Updated: Sunday, November 26th 2:30pm:
The back edge of the snow is working through southeast Wisconsin right now with not much in the way of additional accumulation expected. Additional flurries or light snow showers will be possible into the evening as a cold front to our west pushes across SE WI.
Snow totals through midday are in the 1-2" range for most.
Cold and windy conditions move in behind the cold front tonight and Monday with wind chills in the single digits Monday morning as you head out to work and school.

Midday Update Sunday November 26th...
As we get into the afternoon, the snow will start to wind down from west to east. A lot of places are still below freezing so please drive carefully. We haven't gotten a lot of snow, maybe an inch or two, but it doesn't take much to create problems on the roads.

Update as of 9 a.m. Sunday, November 26th...
We're still in the thick of it. And will be until the early afternoon. Snow reports are trickling in, including 1.75" in De Forest and 1.50" in Horicon. Most of us are below freezing, and the visibility is poor. Please use extreme caution when traveling. After the snow subsides, the winds will increase and temps will drop into tonight behind a cold front. So we'll see a lot of re-freezing overnight, adding to more slick spots.
By the way, we want to see you snow pics. Send them via [email protected] or via the CBS 58 weather app. I know Tom Donovan isn't happy about this snowfall, but many of you are.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Going into this latest bout of snow, we're about an inch and a half above average for the season. Snow amounts ranging between one and two inches throughout this Sunday, with some spots seeing a little more, will only help the numbers. Most of the accumulating snow will wrap up by early afternoon. But light snow showers or flurries will linger into the evening.
Of course, this is a very busy travel day so lots of people will be on the roads. Please use extreme caution when traveling today as temperatures will hover around freezing for many of us. Then a cold front will move through into this evening, dropping temperatures and increasing the winds. Lows overnight will fall into the teens. The winds will make it feel like single digits as well.
Not much relief with the temperatures until they modify by the middle of the week. Look for highs to reach the 40s by Wednesday. Then there's a chance for some wintry mix by late in the week, especially on Friday.
