Snow returns tonight

Clouds will roll in throughout this evening and overnight ahead of our next system.  Thankfully the clouds will limit the amount of cooling overnight; however, we still expect single digits going into Wednesday morning.

A band of light to moderate snow is expected to move across the area between midnight and 3 am.  The atmosphere remains extremely dry, so accumulation will be on the light side.  We expect a dusting to a half an inch across the area overnight.

Single digit temperatures and very cold road conditions will allow some accumulation on the roads.  Slick areas will be possible going into the Wednesday morning commute.

Another reinforcing shot of arctic air arrives for Thursday and Friday with highs in the single digits and subzero lows.
