Southern areas with best chance of precipitation, mainly rain

The southern trend of the low pressure system continues and this is keeping the best dynamics to our south and east in terms of rain and snow chances.

Precipitation looks like it will stay mainly south of Milwaukee, with parts of the metro getting hit with light showers or snow showers. Most of this will be rain though. All locations are expected to see less than an inch if they see snowfall.

Any precipitation that is leftover will be gone by late morning. A colder north wind funnels in behind the system and this will drop the temperatures into the 30s the rest of the day for a chunk of the viewing area. Milwaukee and south could still see lower 40s.

The next three days look absolutely beautiful! Sunshine will be expected from Friday through the weekend with daytime highs in the low to mid 40s!
