Spend Christmas Eve at SnowGlobe, Franklin Field's 3rd annual holiday festival
FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Enchant Holiday Festival is shaking things up for its third annual event. The theme this year is SnowGlobe. You have just six days left to visit the ballpark at Franklin Commons and see it transformed with lights, trees, Santa and his elves.
"Over a million lights," said Van McNeil, the entertainment director. "It took a team of 30 people a couple of weeks to put this thing together."
This year, there are more ways to warm up than in years past. Sip on a hot cocoa or hot soup from Romero's Taco truck and fill up on donuts at Ms. Claus's Bakery.
There are also two new warming tents this year at SnowGlobe, plus a market with local vendors, ice skating, and live entertainment.
"You are enveloped in all the Christmas lights, and you see the kids going 'ohhh,' or interacting with the elves. The elves will grab the kids by the hand and take them over to Santa. It really is a heartwarming experience," said McNeil.
The event is open on Christmas Eve at 3:30 p.m. and through Dec. 30 for the season.
