MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a stabbing that left one person seriously injured Sunday, Sept. 6. 

It happened just after noon near 35th and Brown Street. 

Police say the 39-year-old victim was stabbed with a steel pipe and taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

Police are seeking a known suspect. The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
