MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Two new restaurants are opening at General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee.
County and airport leaders joined them for a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday.
Starbucks and Cousins Subs now have new locations.
County Executive Chris Abele says the openings show the airport is growing.
"Cousins Subs and Starbucks here represent in a lot of ways the mix of local brands that exemplify the culture and spirit of Milwaukee combined with established national brands that people coming from anywhere will recognize and be familiar with," Abele said.
Both restaurants are now open to the public.
Their openings add to the return of Midwest Express to airport earlier this month.
