State Fair releases schedule for Associated Bank Amphitheater

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) – Wisconsin State Fair officials have announced the schedule for the Associated Bank Amphitheater, the largest free entertainment venue at Wisconsin State Fair.

Milwaukee-based Prince tribute band The Prince Experience will start the party at the Associated Bank Amphitheater on Thursday, August 1, followed by the return of funk favorites Here Come The Mummies on both Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 3. The Kids From Wisconsin will close out opening weekend with a headlining performance on Sunday, August 4.

Fresh off a runner-up finish on NBC’s The Voice, Wisconsin native Chris Kroeze will perform on Monday, August 5. Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone will return for its annual two-night Amphitheater residency on Tuesday, August 6 and Wednesday, August 7. Resurrect: A Journey Tribute will perform the band’s classic hits on Thursday, August 8.

Skid Row will bring the guitars and glam when they perform on Friday, August 9, followed by a night with their hard rock counterparts Faster Pussycat on Saturday, August 10. The lineup wraps up on Sunday, August 11 with the Flex at the Fair Finals, featuring the area’s fittest men and women competing on one stage.

The 2019 Wisconsin State Fair will take place Thursday, August 1 through Sunday, August 11.
