It was a windy start to the weekend as southeast Wisconsin is sandwiched in between the remnants of Helene to our south and high pressure to the northwest. Peak wind gusts were over 35 mph at time today near the lake.
It'll still be windy on Sunday, but gusts won't be as strong as today. The wind dies down on Monday but will pick back up on Tuesday behind a cold front.
There won't be much moisture with the cold front, but it may trigger a few sprinkles before sunrise Tuesday.
Temperatures will generally be above normal in the low to mid 70s this week outside of Tuesday when cooler air briefly moves in.
Above normal temps are favored to continue into the beginning of October as well. Average highs by then will have dropped into the mid 60s.
