Midday Update:

We've been downgraded to a "Marginal" risk with our severe weather potential.  A few showers and storms are possible later in the day into the evening.  But hopefully stronger storms will stay away.  Computer models are hinting at a few showers for the first part of the day on Sunday, mainly south of I-94.  Stay tuned for the latest weather developments.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--It seems like we have this all the time.  A 50/50 weekend split.  This time, Saturday looks stormier than Sunday.  In fact, there's a slight risk of severe weather for a good chunk of the viewing area.  Hail, damaging wind, heavy rain, and frequent lightning are all possible.  Make sure to head indoors when the storms fire.

The storminess should taper off later this evening. We quiet down on Sunday as a front moves south of the border of Wisconsin and Illinois.  The weather should stay fairly quiet until the middle of the week.  On/off showers and storms will be in the forecast then through much of the following weekend. Look for a rather mild week as well with highs in the 80s, even some 90s on Wednesday. The humidity, while not off the charts, will be a factor all week long too. It's July.
