Student who brought BB guns to Waukesha South High School sentenced to 4 years probation

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Waukesha South High School student shot by police after bringing two BB guns to school in 2019 was sentenced to four years probation Thursday, April 29.

Tyrone Smith, who is now 19 years old, was 17 when he brought the weapons to school.

He was also sentenced to nine months in jail, which he has already served.
