WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- There was a celebration at Wauwatosa West High School on Friday, April 4, like they have never held before. 

Students gathered in the gym this afternoon to cheer for the West Boys Basketball Team, winners of the division two state championship, almost two weeks ago. 

This was the first boys basketball state title in school history. The gold ball trophy was there for all to see. 

The West Trojans beat the Racine Park Panthers in overtime at the championship game at the Kohl Center in Madison.
